Honestly, not sure what I would have done without Daily Kos and all of you who contributed over the past couple of months! As I reside in one of those sad Red States (Georgia), it was often hard to find comrades with whom to share my passions. During the darker days of this campaign season, I could almost always find something here to lift my spirits and keep me going.
And there is good news from my Congressional District. We returned John Barrow to Washington, the only white Democrat I believe left here in the deep south. His opponent, who refused to debate him unless he publicly acknowledged his presidential preference, was soundly defeated. There is hope.
